Safe sex toys

All daemons are fully biocompatible. They are made of platinum-cured silicone (99%) and cosmetic grade pigments (1%) nothing else : no phthalates nor any other harmful chemicals.

Effet silicone transparent

99% silicone

What is it ? Silicone is derived from silica (quartz/sand). There are mainly two categories of silicone for sex toys :

1 - Peroxide-cured silicone : low cost but more fragile and not recommended for sensitive applications because it tends to have lower purity levels and may leach chemicals.
2 - Platinum-cured silicone : more expensive but non-porous and stable. It is non-toxic and hypoallergenic, which makes it a very suitable material for direct contact with the human body : medical prostheses, bottle teats, menstrual cups... This is the only type of silicone we use to manufacture the daemons !

All the silicones we use also passed tests designed for medical devices to certify their biocompatibility (ISO 10993-10, Biological evaluation of medical devices, Part 10).

Platinum-cured silicone has very high durability. They resist temperature variations, the sun's UV rays, saltwater... As long as you keep them away from sharp objects, they will last for decades without any particular maintenance !

Romain Fera Daemon

1% pigments

We only use cosmetic grade pigments. They are inside the silicone and not on the surface : if you vigorously rub a daemon in your hands, you won’t find any pigments on your skin.

We chose synthetic alternatives to natural micas for both health and ethical reasons (micas are often mined by children in India (see here). Alternatives to natural micas can be manufactured in labs, which also allows for higher purity levels (natural mica sometimes comes with heavy metals).
